Parts Coordinator

The Parts Coordinator position is needed to assist with the increase in daily parts transactions, including receiving, transferring and pulling car stock.

SUMMARY: The fundamental reason this classification exists is to store and issue copier/MFP and related parts and supplies. Work is performed under the general direction of Inventory Manager.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES: Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
• Communicates with and assists technicians to pull parts needed for orders from shelves.
• Performs inventory transfers daily.
• Verifies quantities of inbound replenishment shipments in a timely manner and reports discrepancies to manager.
• Pulls technician car restock from shelves based on reports generated by Lead Parts Clerk.
• Establishes and maintains bin locations for parts to ensure accurate product placement and retrieval.
• Routinely demonstrates and creates a helpful and positive work culture.
• Encourages and builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with all co-workers.
• Conducts self at all times as the public image of the company in accordance with MRC’s code of ethics.
• Assists with warranty process.
• Assists with physical inventory of warehouse.
• Maintains cleanliness and order of parts room.
• Performs other various duties assigned.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve
• Ability to work with others – administration, logistics, sales, and service personnel
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• At least one parts department experience preferred
• PC experience and aptitude preferred
• Microsoft applications Excel, Word, and Outlook and E Automate
• Customer service skills preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Moderate physical effort required. Work will involve walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh 10 to 50 lbs. Regular application of basic skills (keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination) The employee work environment will be a warehouse setting with light noise levels.
STANDARDS OF MEASURING PERFORMANCE:
• Ability to work well with others
• Inventory accuracy (accurate counts from transfer of inventory)
• Accurate bin locations for products on shelves
