The Trainer will work closely with the Director of Training to help with identifying, designing, and delivering company training solutions to meet business needs for internal MRC employees. You will work closely with Sales, Customer Service and Support to understand the changing learning needs of these departments and design and deploy training. This individual will be the expert in the MRC360 sales process and go-to-market strategy and must effectively communicate and train this philosophy to MRC staff. This position will require travel between the four Bay Area MRC locations. Travel occurs monthly and estimated at 50% time in the field.
Partner with business units to assess learning needs
Determine appropriate solutions to achieve goals and improve related employee performance
Develop, maintain and improve training for employees, business partners, and customers
Deliver training on the MRC360 Sales process, proprietary tools, systems and processes
Coach employees to better performance through job shadowing, including but not limited to call monitoring, sales ride-alongs, and partnering up with sales representatives during sales appointments.
Evaluate the effectiveness of delivered programs; communicate results and recommendations for improvement
Stay current on technology-based solutions to maximize operational efficiencies
Stay current on best practices for effective adult learning
Proficiency using MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook)
Excellent communication (oral, written and presentation skills)
Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment
Ability to influence, negotiate and gain commitment at all organizational levels
Ability to analyze business needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions
Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously in a spontaneous, fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Track record of achieving goals with minimal supervision
Confident public speaker, experienced at motivating large groups of people and facilitating live and virtual training sessions and workshops
Demonstrated ability to organize course material and technical content into intuitive learning formats for a variety of learning channels including classroom, eLearning, and live webinars
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent writing skills and attention to detail, with demonstrated ability to research content, work with Subject Matter Experts, and present complex information clearly
Technically adept. Proficient with required programs including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, screen capture, recording, and web-based content management and authoring tools.
Bachelors degree in Business or Education
2-5 years experience as a corporate trainer
2 years experience developing content and managing curriculum
Previous experience in sales, customer support, and/or developing and designing employee onboarding programs in an advantage
Training certification is a plus
